Specifications include, but are not limited to: Category 1. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Wellness Supports. Tasks include one or more of the following but is not limited to: • Culturally affirming and culturally relevant identity development and exploration. • Building Social Emotional Learning skills based upon Washington State’s SEL Standards and Benchmarks (https://www.k12.wa.us/student-success/healthsafety/mental-social-behavioral-health/social-and-emotional-learning-sel), including self-awareness, self-management, self-efficacy, social awareness, social management, and social efficacy. • Wellness supports including, physical fitness, health and safety, mental health, mindfulness, self-defense. • Creating safe and affirming spaces and building community. • Mentorship, including multigenerational mentorship and near peer mentoring, youth leadership in one or more SEL and Wellness supports listed above. • Enrichment opportunities, including age-appropriate games. • Enhance the community's awareness and understanding of your organization's mission. • Foster and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with relevant stakeholders. • Coordinate and execute outreach initiatives to engage community members effectively. • Establish clear objectives for your outreach efforts to ensure measurable results. • Involve your staff in outreach activities to maximize engagement and impact. • Contribute to on-campus community events. • Willingness to work with providers on campus. • Continuous communication with stakeholders and community leaders. Category 2. Leadership Development, Career Readiness, Civic Engagement, 21st Century Skill Building and Life Skills. Category 3. Family Partnership and Support.
