Collaborate with MISD to develop professional learning utilizing the MISD coaching model. The MISD coaching model is based on Paul Bambrick-Santoyo’s Get Better Faster framework. Provide a two-day coaching and PLC professional learning in July for district instructional leaders. Provide a two-day coaching and PLC professional learning in July for campus instructional coaches and leaders that is differentiated by experience. Provide a monthly, 3hr. coaching capacity building sessions for district and campus instructional leaders that is differentiated by coaching experience. Provide monthly 1hr. PLC capacity building sessions for district and campus instructional coaches and leaders that is differentiated by experience. Provide Instructional Coaching Rounds/PLC Rounds monthly to calibrate and align across the district. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and Development and Leadership to align professional learning to district needs. Provide coaching and PLC support to district level coaches. The role of the district level coach and leaders is to provide support to campus level coaches and leaders. Build capacity of a district level team that will oversee the professional learning for instructional coaches and leaders. Incorporate the use of a district level coaching tool into professional learning. The coaching tool is utilized to align processes and ensure coaching efficacy. In addition, the coaching tool curate documentation and support the evaluation of the district coaching model. Assist MISD in establishing metrics for successful coaching and successful PLCs. Collaborate with MISD Talent Acquisition and Development staff to implement a gradual release model in which Talent Acquisition and Development staff will implement coaching and PLC professional learning by year 3 with minimal partner support.
