Specifications include, but are not limited to: 4.1.14 Provide Claim Services to include, but not be limited to the following: 4.1.14.1 Communicate loss information to insurance carrier(s), report, and monitor claims adjustment activity. 4.1.14.2 Provide claims advocacy services, including, but not limited to working with insurance carrier(s), City, and applicable federal and state agencies on claim related matters. 4.1.14.3 Provide on-site claims advocacy presence within 24 hours for any catastrophic claim events, or alternative timeline if approved by Contract Manager. 4.1.14.4 Verify in writing all claim adjusters, attorneys, and other persons who handle, administer, or defend City claims must be trained and familiar with the municipal immunities outlined in the Texas Tort Claims Act within 120 days of the inception date of the initial policy. 4.1.14.5 Provide or obtain from insurance carrier(s) loss runs within five business days of request by the City. Loss runs shall, at a minimum, specify the location, date of loss, full description of the loss, the current status of each claim, and the amounts paid and currently reserved by the insurance carrier. 4.2 City Responsibilities – The City will: 4.2.1 Collect, compile, and submit renewal underwriting information annually to the Contractor. 4.2.2 Notify the Contractor of midterm airport additions, deletions, and value changes in accordance with policy conditions. 4.2.3 Respond to all Contractor and insurance carrier(s) underwriting questions or concerns within five business days of request. 4.2.4 Coordinate with Contractor and insurance carrier(s) to make the City’s premises available for required Loss Prevention Inspections, risk assessments, and claims investigations as requested. Access to certain airport facilities may not be physically available due to health or safety concerns. In such cases, the City will coordinate with Contractor and insurance carriers(s) to set up remote visits.
