Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) Construct an Alternative onsite sewage system that meets the location and construction specifications of the Virginia Sewage Handling and Disposal Regulations (12VAC5-610-10 et seq., the Regulations). B) Construct the above Alternative onsite sewage disposal system in compliance with the Warren County Health Department Construction Permit 187-23-0420 at 29 Apache Court, Front Royal, VA 22630 in the location shown on the permit. The permit contains additional conditions, notes, and information needed to construct the onsite sewage system. On sheet 5 of 11, drawing page notation states: Contractor to verify tank working order and condition. Contractor to confirm existing pump type (Zoeller 140) and working condition/order Contractor to confirm existing control panel working condition/order. All bids received should include what is existing and detailed in the plans as they are written. Once the contract with VDH SWAP has been negotiated and executed, if the contractor determines that the existing tank, pump, or control panel need replacing, these changes shall be handled by way of submission of a change order. C) Septic Pump-out Requirements: All bids shall include the cost to pumpout the contents of the existing septic tank by a properly licensed sewage hauler. Bids should provide a cost-breakdown per additional pumpout. If multiple pumpouts are needed preauthorization will need to occur to allow for a change order for additional, justifiable pumpouts. If needed, to eliminate raw sewage currently backing up into the home, the contractor shall arrange for an initial emergency pump out of the onsite septic tank by a properly licensed sewage hauler within 72 hours of signing the Notice to Proceed.
