Mobilize on site, treat with a chlorinated bleach and water mixture to kill mildew, mold spores or any other surface contaminants, pressure wash surface, caulk windows and doors, surfaces to be painted may be rolled, brushed, sprayed or back rolled. However, if spraying, a low-pressure applicator is to be used to control the possibility of overspray so as to not contaminate other areas not to be painted or private property. A portion of the building (Southwest side housing the Museum) will not be painted or cleaned. Windows are to be covered with contractor grade film and 3 M blue tape or compatible product. Contractor to comply with all fire, safety, E.P.A., D.E.R. and O.S.H.A. regulations. The Contractor will keep the jobsite free of trash and debris while working and will remove all trash when job is complete. The city will provide non-secured space on premises in which to store material and equipment while completing the job. The storage of equipment in the provided space is at the contractor’s risk if left overnight or during non-operational hours of the City building. Surrounding areas not to be painted should be left free of paint residue.
