1. Bid Item #1A – Direct Digital Controls a. Specification Sections: i. Division 00 – Procurement and Contracting Requirements ii. Division 01 - General Requirements iii. Division 20 – Mechanical General (as pertains to scope) iv. Division 21 – Fire Suppression (as pertains to scope) v. Division 22 – Plumbing (as pertains to scope) vi. Division 23 – HVAC (as pertains to scope) vii. Division 26 – Electrical (as pertains to scope) viii. Division 28 – Electronic Safety and Security (as pertains to scope) ix. 23 09 23 – Direct Digital Controls b. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: i. Specification Sections, noted above, furnished and installed complete in accordance with the Contract Documents including all associated General Notes and Keynotes. ii. Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, and all other Submittal requirements – To be submitted no later than 15 days from Subcontract date or earlier, if required to meet the project schedule. iii. Subcontractor shall furnish and install the Direct Digital Controls scope of work complete, including but not limited to the following: A. Complete controls system and components by Siemens Building Technologies, No Equal. B. Control equipment, software, pneumatic controls, wiring, raceways, and conduit as indicated in Contract Documents. C. Subcontractor to include scope to test, operate, and manage building management systems as required to confirm proper performance is maintained and monitored throughout each phase of construction. D. Subcontractor to include controls for temporary equipment and systems indicated in the Contract Documents, including removal/decommissioning of systems upon completion. E. Subcontractor to perform DDC trend of existing BMS system prior to start of construction and provide to Contractor. F. Subcontractor understands the unique phasing of this project and will include mobilizations for each phase of work as required. Subcontractor understands that night deliveries and night work may be utilized to reduce impact on day-to-day SEA operations. 2. Bid Item #1B – Mechanical Insulation a. Specification Sections: i. Division 22 – Plumbing (as pertains to scope) v. Division 23 – HVAC (as pertains to scope) vi. 20 21 16 – Mechanical Insulation vii. 23 07 19.13 – Cellular Glass Insulation b. Work shall include, but not be limited to the following: i. Specification Sections, noted above, furnished and installed complete in accordance with the Contract Documents including all associated General Notes and Keynotes. ii. Shop Drawings, Product Data, Samples, and all other Submittal requirements – To be submitted no later than 15 days from Subcontract date or earlier, if required to meet the project schedule. iii. Subcontractor shall furnish and install the Mechanical Insulation scope of work complete, including but not limited to the following: A. Ductwork insulation, duct liner insulation jackets, equipment insulation, covering, thermal insulation for piping systems including vapor retarders, jackets and accessories and liquid storage vessels and accessories. B. Insulation per Washington State Energy Code per Contract Documents. C. Subcontractor to include fire-rated duct wrap if any is required in design. D. Subcontractor to include insulation of all temporary mechanical systems, as indicated in documents. E. Subcontractor understands the unique phasing of this project and will include mobilizations for each phase of work as required.
