Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, equipment, tools, incidentals, permits, and insurance necessary for the hydraulic repair services. A. All repairs and replacements shall comply with applicable industry standards and specifications, including but not limited to: 1. ISO 9001:2015 - Quality management systems - Requirements 2. ISO 1219-1:2012 - Fluid power systems and components - Graphical symbols and circuit diagrams - Part 1: Graphical symbols for conventional use and data exchange 3. ISO 4406:1999 - Hydraulic fluid power - Fluids - Method for coding the level of contamination by solid particles 4. Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) J517 - Hydraulic Hose 5. ASME B19.1:2015 - Safety Requirements for Hydraulic Systems B. Contractor shall have the necessary tools, equipment, and facilities to perform hydraulic repair services on-site, as well as the capacity to handle off-site repairs for larger or more complex equipment. C. Repairs shall include disassembly, cleaning, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of hydraulic components as necessary. D. Contractor shall perform precision testing and adjustments to ensure the proper functioning and performance of hydraulic systems after repairs. E. Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance services to help prolong the lifespan of the hydraulic systems and minimize the occurrence of breakdowns. This may include fluid replacement, filter changes, and system inspections. F. Contractor shall provide a warranty for all repairs and replacements, covering the workmanship and the quality of replacement parts. G. Any equipment or components that need to be replaced shall have approval from the City of Newport News designee before proceeding with the repair. H. All repair services shall include a thorough assessment of the system, identifying any underlying issues or potential future failures. I. All repairs and replacements shall be conducted using high-quality parts and components that meet or exceed the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The Contractor shall provide documentation and assurance of the quality and compatibility of the replacement parts.
