Specifications include, but are not limited to: The first overarching goal of this work is to provide our organization with assistance streamlining access to multiple publicly available data sets that CPPR researchers frequently use for Needs Assessments and Community Engaged Research projects. We want a structured metadata tool including data from various sources and across geography, time, and topic / content that includes logical links where possible and is up to date. CPPR staff should have access to a user-friendly interface that allows for querying multiple publicly available data sets including but not limited to data from the Census, CDC, USDA, EPA, HUD; socioeconomic data, demographic data, and community and health outcome data. The database should be easily searchable by both experienced researchers and individuals with less data and analytics experience. An intuitive UI and query builder tools are a must.
