Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vendor shall provide all equipment, material, and labor necessary to perform tree trimming and removal services. 13.1. Work may need to be performed when students are not on campus. If job is scheduled while students are on campus, it is the Agency’s desire that the Vendor work with the Agency to determine the best timeline to limit disruption to students. 13.2 Vendor shall supply all tools to perform job. 13.3 Work shall be completed within 90 days of Notice to Proceed. 13.4 Any damage to existing state facilities or adjacent properties shall be the responsibility of the vender. 13.5 Vendor shall not cut down more than can be chipped and hauled away. Debris shall not be left at the end of workday. 13.6 Vendor shall contact Jacob Bonar at WVSDB minimum of 7 days prior to arrival on site to coordinate work. 13.7 Contractor shall contain Miss Utility to check for any active utilities in areas of work. 13.8 Per Exhibit B – Trees 1 – 16: Removal of tree including but not limited to, leaves, limbs, trunk, and grinding of stump and roots to 10” below finished surrounding grade. Chip all possible wood and haul all debris off site. Provide screened fill dirt containing rocks no larger than 1-1/2” to within 6” of finished grade. Provide rich topsoil in minimum of 6” thickness for finish grading and seed and straw area to match existing grasses. Trees 17 – 19: 13.9 Per Exhibit B – Trees 17 – 19: Removal of tree including but not limited to, leaves, limbs, trunk, and complete root ball. Chip all possible wood and haul all debris off site. Provide screened fill dirt containing rocks no larger than 1-1/2” to within 6” of finished grade. Provide rich topsoil in minimum of 6” thickness for finish grading and seed and straw area to match existing grasses. 13.9 No burning of materials shall be permitted on-site. 13.10 Any disturbance in lawn areas shall be repaired and seeded by the vendor. 13.11 The work area must be properly designated and barricaded so that pedestrians and school workers are forewarned of pending hazards and are diverted clear of hazards.
