Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Property must be located in the vicinity of Mile 4½ North East of FM 493 West, Donna, Texas; • Real property should be a minimum of approximately 1 acre with all acreage being used as a transfer station; • Lease must be on a monthly payment basis; • Hidalgo County reserves the right to add and/or delete acreage during the term of the contract; • Bidder is required to provide the legal description, and the Property ID, or Geographical ID number (as listed at the Hidalgo County Appraisal District) with the Bid response.; • Bidder may submit the metes & bounds of the proposed Property (preferred, but not required); • Property is preferred, but not required, to be an unincorporated area; • The County may have a front end loader at the proposed site and may place a small building at the site; • County employee(s) will be on-site during normal operating/working hours; • The County is estimating having ten (10) thirty (30 c.y.) cubic yard containers and one (1) thirty (30 c.y.) cubic yard compactor on site; • Allow County-owned signage on the leased property; and • Lessor will be required to sign the Property Owner’s Affidavit (30 TAC §330.11(a)), section of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Municipal Solid Waste, Notice of Intent to Operate a Citizen’s Collection Station Application.
