Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Locate and mark utility infrastructure (Blue Staking) owned and maintained by the Logan City Public Works and Light & Power Departments. • Coordinate with contractors, homeowners, other utilities, and others who request location of utilities. • Interpret maps, GIS data and other Public Works records to determine location of utilities. • Own and Operate utility locating equipment suitable for the work. • Collect and organize field data related to utility infrastructure. • Coordinate with City Engineer and Public Works utility personnel as needed to locate utilities. • Develop and maintain electronic records of blue stake requests and activities. • Operate GPS equipment (survey and mapping grade) to locate and/or collect utility location data. • Ensure electronic data collected in field is updated in City’s software and GIS systems. • Maintain electronic documentation and records of completed work.
