Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.4.1 The Contractor shall take all precautions necessary to protect all existing landscaping, sidewalks, buildings, vehicles, utilities, etc. in the area where the work is being done or that may be located adjacent to or in-route across County property job site. The Contractor shall rebuild, restore, and make good at their own expense, all injury and damage which may result from work being carried out under this contract. 3.4.2 The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of any pedestrians during the construction and clean up operations. The Contractor shall maintain and keep the construction area clean and safe during the duration of the projects. 3.4.3 The Contractor shall be responsible for the protection of unfinished work and shall be responsible for the safety of individuals using the unfinished equipment. The Contractor shall, at their own expense, furnish such barricades, fences, lights, and shall take such other precautionary measures for the protections of persons, property, and the work as may be necessary. 3.4.4 The Contractor shall be responsible for all damage work due to the failure of barricades, fences, lights, etc. to protect it, and if damage does occur, the damaged portion shall immediately be removed and replaced by the Contractor and at their expense. 3.4.5 The Contractor shall be responsible for removal, hauling, and disposal of all debris and unusable material from proposed construction areas and designated sites.
