Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Program and Accreditation. Contractor shall: a. Provide an online high school education program (the Program) accessible via both computer and mobile device. b. Enable students to earn a diploma accredited by one of the following recognized agencies: Cognia; Middle States Association; New England Association; Western Association. c. Maintain accreditation with one of the mentioned Agencies consistently throughout the duration of the contract and immediately notify the Library if status has changed or is at risk. 2. Services and Support. Contractor shall: a. Offer a diploma accredited by one of the Agencies upon students’ successful completion of the Program requirements. b. Provide student registration and orientation services. c. Ensure availability of online and telephone academic support and coaching for enrolled students. d. Offer technical support for both enrolled students and library staff. e. Supply curriculum, graduation materials, certified transcripts, and copies of high school diplomas when applicable. 3. Enrollment Commitment. Contractor shall: a. Ensure the enrollment and education of up to 120 San Francisco Public Library students during the initial contract term. b. Ensure that students who are enrolled during the term of the contract will be permitted to complete their program and Contractor shall make their best efforts to ensure that students can receive their diplomas, irrespective of whether the Agreement concludes or is terminated prematurely. c. Reimburse the City for prepaid, unused enrollments if the Agreement expires or if the Program loses its accreditation. d. Collect student demographics for statistical purposes. 4. Marketing and Reporting. Contractor shall: a. Provide marketing support, training, and assistance for library and library staff. b. Produce recruiting materials like brochures and bookmarks at no extra cost. c. Grant unlimited access to a student dashboard for City staff to monitor enrollment and progress. d. Deliver Reporting Services detailing enrollment status, student progress, and monthly evaluations within 24 hours of request. e. Notify the library of students who have completed the program within 48 hours of completion. 5. Credit Recognition. Contractor shall: a. Evaluate and grant credits for relevant coursework previously undertaken at an accredited high school. b. Offer guidance to students on how they can request and submit prior high school transcripts for evaluation to grant credit for coursework completed domestically or internationally. c. Offer recommendations to students for international coursework translation services for the purpose of evaluation to grant credit for coursework that is completed internationally...
