Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing 786 square foot room is currently an empty shell space with some electrical and data connections, general lighting, and a unit heater. The new lab will be used to prep samples for isotopic analysis of carbon and oxygen from various geologic materials. The room will need to be designed to include but not be limited to the following: Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer (IRMS). This will require coordination with manufacturer to provide temperature, humidity control, and required clearances and connections. This will likely require a room within the room to meet the requirements. Specifications on the equipment are attached for reference, but the exact equipment has not been purchased yet 8-foot chemical hood with chemical cabinet, sink, air, and vac connections Benchtop equipment such as centrifuge, oven, etc. Lab benches and desk height spaces with drawers, cabinets, and shelving Sink with sediment trap Eyewash/shower Connection to deionized water Typical lab gases Mechanical, lighting, and technology updates as required Connection to backup power
