Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project includes improvements to the Automated Exit Lane at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport. The exit lane connects the airport’s sterile airside with the public nonsterile landside space and guides the flow of passengers throughout the airport. The updated secured exit lane will include automated exit gate units. This upgrade attempts to reduce the need for officers or guards, while improving the existing pedestrian traffic flow. The project limits also include but not limited to: • Removal of flooring, ceilings and wall finishes at the proposed locations of the automated exit gate units • Installation of ceramic tile flooring at the proposed locations of the automated exit gate units • Installation of the automated exit gate units • Installation of access controlled doors • Installation of ceiling and wall wood panels • Electrical and communication work related to the automated exit gate units • Relocation of fire alarm strobe and wall outlet • Painting of walls and ceiling adjacent to and above the automated exit gate units
