Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Successful Contractor must have an approved dumping site/station. 5.2 The Successful Contractor must have a 2000-gallon tank available. 5.3 The Successful Contractor must be able to measure volume removed. 5.4 The Successful Contractor must be able to have pump and hose facilities to pump heavy solids at times. Sludge is only a slurry. 5.5 The Successful Contractor may be required to remove sludge from our treatment plant and take it to another treatment plant for “seed” purposes. 5.6 The Successful Contractor must be able to pump sludge during winter months when the temperature is below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. They must also have some type of heater device on equipment in order to keep it from freezing up. 5.7 Debris removal time is when debris removal work begins at a location and debris removal time ends at a location. The Successful Contractor shall not charge the County the hourly debris removal fee until the Successful Contractor arrives at the County’s location and debris removal begins. 5.8 The Successful Contractor must be able to provide same day service. 5.9 The Successful Contractor must be available 24 hours a day. Maximum response time for emergencies is 4 hours, and non-emergency response is 1-2 days. 5.10 Quote prices to include all costs, including but not limited to disposal fees, minimum hourly rates, truck loads, etc. 5.11 The County locations to receive service under this contract are as follows: 5.11.1 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – There is no regular pumping schedule and emergency services must be available for the following locations. • Trophy Estates – located on Harris Road, South of US 50 Hwy, West of MO Hwy 7 Intersection. • Carriage Oaks – located on the Southeast corner of Colbern Road and MO Hwy 7 Intersection. • Road & Bridge Facility – located at 34900 E Old US 40 Hwy, Oak Grove, MO 64075 5.11.2 PARKS + REC – 16 Pit Toilets, 1000 gallons each, to be pumped once per year and/or as needed. 5.11.2.1 Jacomo: • Shelter A, Blue Springs Lake on Woods Chapel, west of Liggett & Woods Chapel • Handicapped Fishing Area, east side of Jacomo at the north end of Selvey Road. 5.12.2 Longview: • Shelter #8, High Grove north side, east of Raytown Road • Boy Scout, next to parking lot, across the road, south of Longview Shelter #8 on High Grove Road...
