Specifications include, but are not limited to: American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services are needed to interpret interactions between employees and various members of school staff, interpret school-wide events (orientations and graduations, theatrical and extracurricular events), and other events as required. Interpreting services shall be conducted for varying lengths of time. Interpreting services may be provided to an individual or group depending on client need or setting. Personnel will provide interpreting services for both longterm and one time only immediate services. Offerors shall have the capability to provide services for delivering and managing interventions and treatment. Offerors shall include in their proposal response a Management Plan for providing all services and/or compliance/contractor requirements as indicated in 3.1, 3.2, and 3.3. In addition, the Offeror’s proposal response must provide its methodology for providing access to age appropriate, research-based therapeutic content and tools that will be utilized during sessions. 3.1 Scope of Work Requirements 3.1.1 Provide in-person interpretations 3.1.2 Provide virtual interpretations with ability to navigate virtual interpreting platforms 3.1.3 Provide sign to voice and voice to sign interpretations 3.1.4 Sign and interpret in legal and confidential environments 3.1.5 Use and interpret school-related and academic vocabulary 3.1.6 Provide sign language interpretations services, including teacher consultation, appropriate to meet the needs of the individual students as determined by the Individualized Education Plan team 3.1.7 Interpret interactions between employees and various members of school staff, interpret school-wide events (orientations and graduations, theatrical and extracurricular events), and other events as required. 3.1.8 Provide a plan highlighting tools and processes to help parents and teachers reinforce and support students’ therapeutic outcomes and encourage their application in the classroom, home and during social interactions.
