Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Review of existing equipment and building infrastructure ● Working with the University to understand all needs and functionality of the proposed video wall ● Assist in establishing a scope for any other trades, if necessary ● Estimating efforts to assist the University in getting the most valued video wall with the available funding ● Review the existing Creston Fusion On-Prem Server and make recommendations to the University on whether the Video Wall can be incorporated, what upgrades may be necessary; or if should it be a stand-alone system ● Producing functional/system drawings for review by the University ● Furnish/Install video wall displays and associating gear in the rack with associated UPS’s ● Furnish/Install Rack-mounted PCs, PC specs shall be reviewed and approved by the University. Possible Imaging by the University before installation may need to occur. ● Furnish/Install/Updating Total Channel Players associated with this video wall and work with Total Channel to ensure it’s properly communicating to the on-prem server ● Work with MSU IT/Information System Security Office to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. ● Work with MSU IT/KIT-Services (David Kilduff, dkilduff@kit-networks.com, 410-419- 0038) to ensure the video wall is connected to the campus ALE network. ● Furnish/Install any networking equipment needed for the system to communicate with the rest of the campus and to the outside world. All equipment must be submitted to the University for approval. ● Perform System checkout as required per the manufacturer ● Perform verification testing and training for the University users ● Establish an as-built drawing in CAD and PDF ● Submit Operation Manuals and a description of the system’s overview, equipment list, and costs of each piece of equipment for asset management ● Furnish/Install 2-year Preventative Maintenance Plan (Alternate) ● Provide an extended workmanship warranty (parts and labor) for years 3-5. Note: Years 1-2 shall be included in the base bid of construction cost. (Alternate) ● Provide 200 Hours of On-Site Staff for University/Special Events (Alternate)
