Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor to provide front load containers as specified in “excellent” condition for solid waste. Containers are to be kept in good condition for the duration of the contract. Contractor will be given 30 days to repair or replace equipment once it is reported as damaged. - Delivery of new containers must be coordinated with the current contractor’s removal schedule to insure no break in service. - Contractors to empty containers per the outlined schedule. The awarded bidder will work closely with our Maintenance Department to determine if any changes need to be made to schedules and/or service levels. We have several schools located in densely populated neighborhoods that cannot be serviced prior to 7:00 am or after 9:00 pm. - THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR OVERFLOW PICKUPS AN ANY SITE. Bidders agree to adjust schedules to accommodate any overflow situation without charge. The District reserves the right to scale back services during the summer months, holiday breaks, and other unforeseen lengthy school closures. Schedules for District Stadiums will suspend for times when stadiums are not in use, all will result in reduction in cost. - Itemized invoices shall be emailed monthly and clearly denote service provided by location. Pricing as submitted on your bid form will be included on your invoice, no additional fees will be allowed. - References will be required. Each bidder must include at least three (preferably S.C School Districts) references of comparable size, scope and complexity outlining the number of locations and service frequency. The bidder should demonstrate a record of past performance indicating ability to fulfill requirements of this bid request. Each bidder will include company name, point of contact name, title, and contact info for each reference provided along with year and specific type of service. Undesirable information obtained from references may be grounds for bid rejection. - Fort Mill School District is in a building phase, and any new facilities opened during the term of this contract will be added to the contract. Rates will be determined based on current cost at the time services are added.
