1. Contractor must provide pre-engineered drawings to the City's building department to obtain a no fee permit. 2. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining utility markings by contacting Blue Stakes and all applicable utility providers. 3. Contractor to furnish all equipment, labor, materials, and appurtenances for the project. 4. Excavate area to prepare for concrete slab. 5. Provide and install concrete column piers for pavilions. 6. Provide and install 5" concrete slab for pavilion using 6.5 bag mix and be Concrete Class 4000 per APWA specifications over 4" of compacted road base or gravel to accommodate the size of the pavilion. 7. The concrete slab is to be finished at ground level and extend 12 inches beyond the roof line. There will be 3 control joints in each direction for a total of 6 control joints. 8. Shelters to be provided by Icon System Shelter, Inc. or pre-approved equal. Pre-approved equal must be submitted through the Q&A process on U3P. All steel gable shelter must contain the following features: a. 5, 000 hours salt spray resistance, powder coated tube steel frame. b. Gable beams shop welded as single members, so no field assembly required. c. 24-gauge exposed fastener metal roof. d. 4: 12 roof pitch. e. All hidden fasteners. f. Engineered to local code. g. No place for birds or animals to roost. h. Follow engineered drawings for footing construction. 9. Color selections: Tube Steel Framing- Enclosure Beige; Roof- Patina Green. 10. The building materials and forms shall be cleaned up and the landscape restored, and the pavilion cleaned. 11. The City will be responsible for re-locating the existing sprinkler lines in the area where the pavilion work will take place.
