Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Remove house debris. 2. There is no basement so there should not be any digging only removal of the debris. The awarded contractor is responsible for contacting dig safe if needed. The City will not be requesting utility disconnects. 3. All rubbish and debris found on the site must be hauled off the site to a permitted solid waste land fill in accordance with K.S.A. 65-3402-U. 4. The contractor may remove reasonably accessible salvageable materials and sell as salvage. If the contractor sells salvageable materials, K.S.A. 12-1755 requires that the proceeds from the salvage shall be used to offset or reduce the cost of abatement. If the contractor sells salvageable materials, they must provide receipts for all salvage and reduce the total amount due by deducting the total proceeds generated by the salvage. 5. Landfill receipts to show debris was disposed of at a permitted solid waste landfill and landfill usage is required prior to payment for services rendered.
