The projects, located in the City of Charleston in Charleston County, involve two separate projects: the Oceanic Street Multi-Use Path and East Bay Street Sidewalk. The Oceanic Street Multi-Use Path shall consist of the installation of approximately 1,150 feet of eight-foot-wide concrete sidewalk on Oceanic Street. The work shall also include, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 242 feet of smooth wall storm drainage pipe and 4 catch basins, an in-contract relocation of a Charleston Water Systems (CWS) 6” water main and hydrant, installation of a retaining wall and railing, installing fencing, repaving asphalt driveways, as well as erosion and sediment control and traffic control. The East Bay Sidewalk project shall consist of the installation of approximately 310 linear feet of five-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, pedestrian sidewalk ramps, detectable warning surfaces, and 211 linear feet of granite curb. The work shall also include, but is not limited to, the erosion and sediment control and traffic control.
