Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vehicles and Drivers: • Contractor must provide an adequate number of vehicles to guarantee regular collection service. • All vehicles mut be in good repair, appearance, and in sanitary condition at all times. • All vehicles must have visible identity and phone number on both sides. • The successful proposer must provide an adequate number of drivers to guarantee collections can be made within the requested time frame(s). • Drivers must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. • Drivers must report any and all issues to CCSD Office of Support Services. • If a container is blocked on the day of service, contact CCSD Office of Support Services immediately. • Damage made to any CCSD property, while under contract, will be repaired or replaced to the satisfaction of CCSD and will be at the expense of the successful proposer. • Proposer will exercise extra care and use extreme caution while operating vehicles and/or equipment on District property and must assume that students and/or other persons are present at all times. • The successful proposer must maintain all vehicles and equipment within appropriate safety standards to include backup buzzers, bells, or other signaling devices on each collection vehicle.
