The City of Albuquerque Environment Health Department (“EHD”) has been directed to create a program for the disposal of human feces on properties within the City. See R- 24-3. Human waste may be associated with public health concerns and can potentially be infectious if not handled appropriately. Pursuant to R-24-3, EHD requests bids for the clean up and disposal of human feces and associated waste. The primary focus of the City in awarding a contract for these services is the clean up of human feces, however associated waste may include sharps (needles) and soiled items such as clothing or containers with blood, body fluids or other potentially infectious waste. The City reserves the right to award to multiple vendors as deemed in the best interest of the City
