Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Harrisonville has need of property acquisition services on various City capital improvement projects that arise throughout the city. These projects may include but are not limited to: • Waterline repairs or improvements; • Storm drainage improvements; • Sanitary sewer repairs or improvements; • Public buildings; • Bridges and culverts; • New extensions, improvements, or repairs to City streets and sidewalks; • Storage and communication facilities; Typical services under this on-call agreement consist of a qualified Acquisition Services Provider (ASP) providing appraisal and/or acquisition services for the Public Works Department. Public improvement projects include transportation, parks, drainage, sanitary sewer, waterlines, and electric transmission lines. Right of way, Permanent and/or a Temporary Construction Easements are typically required to facilitate city project work. As part of the project’s engineering design process a title report and appraisal report will be prepared and a survey drawing (tract map) detailing the rights to be acquired for each parcel will be obtained by the City and will be provided to the ASP. The City may choose to enter into agreements with more than one firm.
