Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intention of NOLA Public Schools to establish a multi-year contract for “Innovative Talent Development Pipeline for High Need/Hard to Staff Areas”. NOLA public schools is seeking 3rd -party vendors developing and/or implementing innovative talent development models that aim to address high need and/or hard to staff areas through recruitment, training, and placement to meet the unique needs of schools with high concentrations of high-need students. Possible pathways shall include but are not limited to: • Paraeducator to Teacher Certification • Associate Teacher Certification • Pre-Educator Pathway for High School Students • Alternative Teacher Certification • Social Workers • School Psychologists The provider(s) shall perform all work required to accomplish the development and delivery of talent preparation programs that directly contribute to one or more of the following NOLA-PS goals: • Support at least one program that is locally focused on building interest among current undergraduates, high school students and/or current school staff (i.e., paraprofessionals, assistant teachers) to enter the field of teaching • Support at least one exploratory study or pilot to inform innovative talent practices that uniquely apply to the context of our school system • Recruit, prepare and place teachers into New Orleans public school, across an estimated 750 diverse, new hires
