Specifications include, but are not limited to: Red Clay Consolidated School District is planning to utilize ERATE Category II funding to replace the existing fiber lines between the MDF and IDF closets with new 12-strand aqua 50 micron OM4 multimode fiber as per State of Delaware technology and architecture standards at the following Red Clay schools: •A.I. duPont High School - MDF to IDF in annex building •H.B. duPont Middle School - MDF to lower level IDF •Conrad Schools of Science - MDF to lower level IDF in band room •Brandywine Springs - MDF to MDF in annex building •Warner Elementary - MDF to IDF on second floor Vendor to demo existing fiber lines from MDF to each IDF, which may have to wait to be done until after the new fiber line is installed and Red Clay has transitioned over to the new fiber. Ideally the new fiber can be run to existing fiber patch panels, however, vendor will need to provide a new fiber patch panel if necessary.
