Specifications include, but are not limited to: Utilizing ERATE Category II funding to remove two-post rack from IDF in room 125 and install a new wall-mounted open rack. Red Clay will remove all Cisco switches and patch cables from this IDF and the vendor will have to remove the patch panels w/terminated cables from the existing two-post rack, remove and dispose of the two-post rack, install the new wall-mounted rack and install the patch panels w/terminated cables into the new wall-mounted rack. Red Clay will reinstall the Cisco switches and patch cables. Vendor will need to provide a wall-mount open frame rack that provides 12U of rack space (manufacturer and part number of the rack must be included in vendor’s bid so the district can verify that the rack will be acceptable, 20” of depth is preferred). Vendor will be required to troubleshoot any data lines that are not functional after Red Clay has patched them back in to the Cisco switches.
