Specifications include, but are not limited to: The demolition and removal of the existing adhesive, padding, carpet flooring, and vinyl wall base in designated areas of the second floor, according to demolition floor plan provided by owner. Prepping the floor surface where new carpet tiles are to be installed, according to installation floor plan provided by owner. Providing and installing the following, according to installation floor plan provided by owner: Interface 50cm x 50cm carpet tiles (Style: Cubic, Color: #6393 Height) in designated areas of the second floor. The carpet tiles will be glued down. 4.5” black vinyl wall base to match existing finish. Transitions strips as necessary. In study rooms 201 A through G, 209, 210, and 211, the new carpet will be installed directly over the existing vinyl tiles (see demolition and installation floor plans provided by owner). The stacks movers will provide the phasing for the project during construction on a weekly basis. They will open up sections of the second floor, one area at a time, to allow the carpet installers to remove the old carpet and install the new carpet tiles. Contractor/vendor will be required to follow that weekly phasing and schedule provided by the stack movers and approved by USD Project Manager. The Contractor/Vendor shall be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items as required for a complete installation. The Contractor/Vendor confirms that they have inspected the site where the work is to be performed.
