Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Winooski (“City”) intends to solicit bids from qualified contractors for electrical upgrades to its Water Pollution Treatment Facility (“WWTP”) Control Building, located at 250 West Allen Street, Winooski, VT 05404. This project consists of replacing the Facility’s existing standby generator, a diesel-fueled 60 kW unit, with a natural gas-fired 150 kW generator, and upgrading outdated electrical gear and wiring. The required Work includes furnishing and installing all equipment, material and labor needed to complete the upgrades indicated on the Contract Drawings, including: • Decommissioning and removal of the Facility’s existing generator system, automated transfer switch, circuit breaker and circuit transformer. • Excavation, earthwork and concrete construction for duct bank, generator pad and bollards. • Core drilling existing walls, and insulation and sealing of all conduit penetrations. • Plumbing work and excavation for gas piping and electrical conduits. • Installation, wiring and testing of new electrical gear, including automatic transfer switch, main breaker, circuit transformer cabinet and meter socket. • Installation and testing of new gas-fired generator set.
