Specifications include, but are not limited to: Awarded contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies, as necessary. Awarded contractor shall be responsible for supervision, clean up and disposal, and must have all applicable permits, licenses, and insurance coverage. 10.1. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: General Contractor services and/or general labor consist of: 10.1.1. General plumbing repair and/or installation. (Must be licensed by the State of Texas) 10.1.2. General HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) repair and/or installation. (Must be licensed by the State of Texas) 10.1.3. General Electrical (electrical installation and or repair) (Must be licensed by the State of Texas) 10.1.4. Glass Repair (provide routine or emergency glass breakage repair or installation) 10.1.5. Painting (provide interior / exterior wall painting on an as needed basis) 10.1.6. General Carpentry ( building repair / remodeling) on an as needed basis 10.1.7. Emergency building repairs 10.1.8. Handyman services (assist in assembling / disassembling furniture), hanging bulletin boards, etc. 10.2. This is a Requirements Contract which means that no work is guaranteed under this Contract. For each proposed project under this Contract, the HHSC Contract Administrator or designee will contact the Contractor for an estimate. Contractor will proceed with the work under the project only after the estimate is approved by the HHSC Contract Administrator through the release of a Delivery Release Change Notice. Work performed without this Release will not be paid. 10.3. Mileage will not be reimbursed under this contract. 10.4. Contacted Contractor shall respond to the HHSC Contract Administrator on-site to the initial request within twentyfour (24) hours for all non-emergency calls and two (2) hour for all emergency calls. 10.5. Contractor must be within a 50 mile radius of LSSLC. 10.6. Work performed will be conducted by the Contractor in asbestos abated areas only. If work or part of a project is to be performed in an unabated area, the work will be performed by others as determined by HHSC/HHSC. Coordination of work to be performed in unabated areas will be discussed in the initial stages of a project. 10.7. Travel time to and from the job site is not reimbursable under this Contract. Contractors shall check in and out with the authorized HHSC Representative to ensure that the Representative logs the start and completion times on the service ticket for the services performed. Contractors shall provide the following information on the service ticket: building name, floor, HHSC work order # and project name if any, name of personnel performing the work, trade category of person performing work, number of personnel, and hours worked. Contractor invoice to match approved service tickets. Contactor material invoices shall be attached to final invoice. 10.8. The Contractor shall be responsible to examine all facilities in which the work will take place and to be familiar with the conditions under which the work will be accomplished. Contractor shall inspect existing conditions prior to commencing work, including elements subject to damage or movement during the project.
