Educators need expertise in both the material they are teaching and the methods they use to teach their content. Using research-proven, evidence based instructional strategies allow teachers to promote student engagement, maximize academic gains, and allow ALL students to thrive. The Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or organizations (Contractor) for the development of 3 regional face-to-face training sessions and 2 follow-up virtual technical assistance sessions to coach teachers to maximize instruction through using high leverage instructional practices. Bidders should demonstrate broad expertise and experience related to Tier 1 (Universal Instruction), professional learning, and supporting teachers to use highly effective, research based pedagogical practices to instruct all students
