Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CCRPC in partnership with the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation and the U.S. Geological Survey is managing a research project to better understand phosphorus loading from street trees as well as street sweeper effectiveness in order to develop a system to document cumulative nutrient and sediment load-reduction credits for street cleaning and other SCMs in order to help cities and towns meet the Lake Champlain Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) phosphorus reduction requirements, municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) regulations, and reduce sediment in stormwater runoff to eleven impaired watersheds.
