A. Replace the existing BAS controllers according to this SOW. b. Integrate the new BAS controllers with either the campus Andover Continuum or Siemens Apogee front end system that meets the latest published UT Austin DDC Controls specification. c. Design the new BAS to be robust. This typically means a separate controller for each major group of HVAC equipment providing reliable building control even if network communication or other building controller(s) fail. Discuss with the UT PM. d. Pre-build and test BAS front end screens, field panels, control devices, and wiring such that point transfer time between old and new controllers is minimal. e. UT will provide one new and one existing FACNET drop to the BAS network controller panel, and will supply IT support, if needed, for the FACNET interface. FACNET is a protected, secure, malware free, limited access UT facilities network. To protect it, only FACNET dedicated and new or guaranteed malware free computers may connect to it. f. All work is expected to take place during normal working hours. Schedules and work areas will be depend on building use and are subject to change. Coordinate and communicate the work schedule with the building contact. g. Notify UT of any discrepancies, omissions, additions or conflicts in completion of the project as described in a timely manner. h. Notify UT Facilities Monitoring (471-3935) each day before working on any operating BAS system. i. Project must be complete in less than 120 days from the PO date.
