Specifications include, but are not limited to: Management of Planting Hope Urban Farm. Existing Market Gardens can be used for production and/or programming. PHUF must continue to support the Specialty Crop Block Grant for the TCC until the end of the grant period, August 31, 2019. Production must meet the volume for the TCC and SL CSA programs for 2018 and 2019, which totals $1300 lb. produce/year. This total can be met by a combination of produce grown at PHUF, and produce sourced only from a Delaware farm(s). These activities are supported with resources by the Specialty Crop Block Grant. The Community Garden program must remain. Existing community gardeners should have the ability to retain their plots and renew their contract, if desired. At least two community garden plots must be made available for client programming. The Memorial Garden trees, walking path, and sitting area must be maintained. Trees that die for whatever reason should be replaced. The Bee Pasture must remain as a maintained meadow at least until 2025, per terms of a grant from the New Castle Conservation District.
