Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Weber County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management ("County"), acting as the Fiscal Agent on behalf of the Region 1 Northern Utah Homeland Security Coalition (the "Coalition"), is seeking to contract with a Vendor to provide a comprehensive, integrated mass notification and communication system. This system should ensure interoperability across the diverse jurisdictions within the coalition, including Davis County, Weber County, Morgan County, Box Elder County, Cache County, and Rich County, to enhance the safety and security of approximately 830,527 residents over an area of 9944 square miles. This RFP seeks proposals from technology vendors with proven experience in delivering mass notification solutions that are scalable, reliable, and capable of interoperating across multiple jurisdictions and platforms. The ideal solution will allow the Coalition to send timely, actionable alerts to community members and first responders, utilizing a variety of communication channels to ensure broad and inclusive reach.
