The City of South Jordan seeks PROPOSALS from experienced and qualified Contractors to provide Asphalt Overlay construction for the City’s 2024 Overlay projects. The work includes 2700 West, 4000 West, Bonar Ridge Rd., and possibly other city streets. The work must be substantially complete 45 days from Notice to Proceed. The City anticipates a Notice to Proceed will be given between July 1st and August 15th, 2024. The City uses a 1.5” edge mill and 2” overlay of PG58-28 asphalt mix for its residential streets, trails, and most parking lot applications. The collector streets and arterials receive a 2” mill and 3” overlay of PG64-34 Super Pave mix, the UDOT super pave mix. The city is looking for a contractor that can provide the required materials and excellent work for our overlay projects for this coming paving season.
