Specifications include, but are not limited to: - Development of a form-based code that replaces the existing Murray City Center District (MCCD) zoning code. - Concentrated engagement with stakeholders, including public officials, property owners, business owners, residents, and other community members. - Analysis of the current urban form, including architectural styles, streetscapes, public spaces, and connectivity. - The Consultant will organize and lead design workshops or a full planning charrette to engage the community, gather ideas and goals, and formulate implementation strategies. Deliverables: - A draft Form-Based Code tailored to Murray City's downtown area, accompanied by explanatory notes and illustrative graphics, maps, and clear guidelines. Documentation of stakeholder engagement activities, including meeting summaries, feedback received, and responses to stakeholder concerns. Implementation strategies and recommendations. - Public Hearing Presentations and materials. The consultant will make formal presentations to the planning commission, committee of the whole, and the city council.
