Specifications include, but are not limited to: A.Pre-Construction (Project Kick-off) Meeting Consultant shall participate in the pre-construction meeting and support all coordination / communication policies and procedures established by the agency’s project manager. B. Construction Site Visits Consultant shall undertake periodic jobsite visits for the purpose of observing the progress and quality of work. At a minimum, Consultant shall be on-site for the weekly construction coordination meetings (see following paragraph). Consultant shall be on-site for sufficient hours each week to assist/support the agency’s project manager. RTA anticipates the construction for all restrooms will be completed within 3 months. Consultant shall call upon support and participation by other members of the design team to support the project manager during those periods when the architectural elements are being constructed. C. Conduct Construction Coordination Meetings Consultant shall attend weekly construction coordination meetings in conjunction with the General Contractor and RTA. D. Provide Consultation and Assistance During Construction During the construction of the project, Consultant shall provide interpretations of specifications and drawings and other consultation as needed. Consultant shall render decisions as needed in a timely manner to maintain the timely completion of the project. E. Construction Management Consultant shall provide a one part-time inspector on site as needed to ensure compliance to the specifications and drawings for the duration of the project. Consultant shall coordinate all appropriate testing, and special inspections that are the responsibility of the Owner. These services shall be coordinated in the field with the agency’s project manager. F. Review Shop Drawings and Submittals Consultant shall review and take appropriate action on required submittals made by the General Contractor including shop drawings, material samples, mix designs, etc. Consultant shall provide responses to all request for information (RFI) and request for clarification (RFC) to ensure the General Contractor is in compliance with the written technical specifications and plan sets.
