Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Battery Park City (BPC) Ball Fields located at 205 Warren Street, New York, NY 10281 (the “Site”) features foam and vinyl protective padding, plywood, and associated hardware(the “Units”) for the walls, lighting and other poles, and other areas for the purpose of padding protection for recreational sport use in the area. Over time, the Units have deteriorated largely due to exposure to the elements. The existing Units need to the removed and disposed of, and new Units furnished and installed on Site. The selected Contractor shall; a. Develop a Complete Project Plan: i. Provide a project approach plan that includes a detailed schedule of the work to be performed along with a clear logistics plan to show how the work will be performed while allowing for continued access to the BPC Ball Fields with minimal interruption or disruption to daily use by the public. ii. Verify field measurements of the existing foam padding and vinyl covers at the BPC Ball Fields. iii. Inspect existing conditions to confirm suitability to support new Units. Promptly advise BPCA if any remedial work is required prior to installation. iv. Provide manufacturer’s product data and prepare detailed shop drawings for all Units for approval by BPCA.
