Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall Supply all labor, material and equipment to complete installations of doors. Remove existing door to be replaced with new door. Shall not begin installation until the door openings have been prepared and ready for install of replacement door.. Verify wall openings are ready to receive work and opening dimensions and tolerances are within specified limits. Install doors in accordance with the manufacturer’s printed instructions. Install astragal, panic bars and locking bars on requested doors 1, 3 and 4. Fit and align door assembly including hardware. Ensure that all doors fully open the entire height of the door opening. Provide and install all door hardware necessary for a completely operational door. Plumb doors when they are closed, partially open, and fully open. Ensure that all doors and locking mechanisms operate friction free. Contractor must Be responsible for daily removal of debris from work site, keeping work area clean and free of any hazards. Enforce all safety measures while working on site. Take all necessary precautions to minimize damage to surrounding surfaces during removal. The Contractor at the contractor’s expense must repair any surfaces damaged during removal. Replace exterior doors when weather conditions are dry, and temperatures are moderate. After Installation contractor must Make sure all doors are straight, plumb, open, and close smoothly without force. Square any doors not operating properly. Ensure plumb doors will close, partially open, and fully open. After installation, clean doors.
