Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The OCME estimates that the contractor will be expected to provide an average of 1,800 per year (150 per month) of forensic autopsy report transcription services. This number, however, is only an estimate. The OCME does not guarantee that a particular number of reports for transcription services will be required per month/year or in total. 2. The Contractor shall provide Medical Transcription Services through a computer system that is capable of receiving, storing, recovering, reporting, transcribing and returning as a printable version of a document on the most recent version of the protocol/templates provided by the OCME via an electronic venue. Report turn-around time shall be 24 hours, Monday - Friday. 3. The Contractor shall own, provide and maintain all hardware and software. No hardware or software will include any exclusive proprietary devices that are outside industry generic standards. The Contractor will maintain a secure, virus free environment. Any connections, files or media transmitted between the Contractor and OCME must be secure and virus free. Any breach of confidentiality from a non-secure or non-virus free environment can be cause for immediate contract termination. 4. The system shall be accessible to OCME via the following methods: - Through the Contractor’s website with the ability to upload audio recordings stored on various types of computer files. (ie; mp3, wav, wmv, etc.) - A Smartphone application. 5. The Contractor shall provide a customer service toll free number and/or email to handle questions from dictating persons.
