Equipment Requirement Contractor to provide one (1) Mobile Road Patcher with all required safety and operational equipment, work lights, reverse direction alarm and a revolving or strobe warning light provided by Contractor. Unit should also have a minimum 5 cubic yard aggregate hopper. The unit must be able to move while patching. The Contractor must supply all asphalt, oil, and washed aggregate. The aggregate must be Bulletin 14 approved and obtained from a Bulletin 14 approved source. The emulsion oil must be Bulletin 15 approved. The Contractor will also ensure that proper oil and aggregates are used to guarantee positive chemical bond of oil and aggregate. The materials provided shall be appropriate for the particular project, regardless of temperature. Additional Equipment Required Maintenance of equipment, fuel, lubrication, and all safety items necessary to operate the unit(s). Contractor is also responsible for proper disposal of waste products created during machine clean out. PennDOT will not be responsible for time required for equipment servicing/maintenance. The Contractor must furnish a copy of vehicle registration cards where applicable prior to execution of Purchase Order. Operator Requirement Contractor to provide an experienced operator (per unit) who possesses CDL qualifications appropriate to vehicle classification.
