Pressure washing shall include all traffic areas around the facilities as well as ground level up to 12 feet in height on the buildings or any structures. Entrances, courtyards, canopies, and pavilions are also included in the service. Unit prices shall be inclusive of any and all equipment and labor needed for pressure washing, including but not limited to ladders, trucks, hoses, and chemicals. The contractor(s) shall thoroughly examine and be familiar with all the specifications and the site conditions and make such investigations to enable them to fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions associated with the execution of the work. Contractor(s) shall protect shrubbery, outside carpeting, sprinkler systems, and exterior wall-mounted electrical devices, including but not limited to electrical outlets, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage system devices, against water or chemical damage. Protect the foliage from chlorine contamination. Should the chlorine strike unprotected plants, rinse the plants as soon as possible with plain water. Job site electricity and water in a reasonable amount shall be furnished to the contractor by the district at no cost.
