The selected General Contractor will be responsible for the full scope of work required as per the Construction Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Architect, including all the Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical scope of work prepared by the MEP Engineer. The General Contractor shall be required to coordinate activities with the separate Prime Contractors to reduce conflict in the field. B. The selected General Contractor will be responsible for all applicable demolition, temporary protection. C. It is understood that the scope of work will be performed in an occupied School. Contractors will be expected to utilize temporary protection to create safe construction zones which separate the work areas from the occupants of the school. If interviewed, the General Contractor will be expected to explain their plan for demolition and new construction, and how the work will be accomplished without negatively impacting FCHS’s operations.
