The unit should be designed and manufactured in compliance with the following requirements including but not limited to: 1. PCA Design: • The design of the Aircraft Preconditioned Air Unit should provide for a trailer mounted, self- contained, diesel engine, air-cooled, air- conditioning unit. All necessary controls and flexible air hose ducting should be included in the design of the unit. • The size of this PCA unit should be at least 90 Tons. • The PCA unit should have Powder coated (arctic white) Galvaneal tube frame/powder coated Aluminum skin, and panels or epoxy powder coated (arctic white) steel panels, all hardware stainless steel with approval/Ratings IEC, ETL, UL, CSA. Access/service panels/grates and doors must cover all mechanical and electrical components facing the exterior of the unit. Standard frame that is galvanized and powder coated is also acceptable. • Inside coil enclosure must be corrosion resistant. • Sealed motors required. • Low fuel indicator with visible/audible warning. Fuel filter/water separation capability. • VFD driven blowers preferred. • 24-volt electrical system. • Dual airflow outlet/output. • The travel trailer with towing coupling should be designed and rated for the weight of the entire unit, plus any required safety factor. • Solid tires and parking brakes required. • Maximum travel speed 20 MPH.
