The scope of this project consists of developing final design documents for approximately 1,700 linear feet of sidewalk, curb and gutter, ADA ramps, and drainage improvements. The basis of design will be as presented in Gila County’s Project Initiation Letter and Scoping Document, dated 12/26/2023. Design criteria shall be consistent with Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) standards, Gila County Public Works Division standards, and the latest version of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Gila County will provide available topographic survey, with supplemental survey as needed. This project is federallyfunded. The design consultant shall be responsible for Stage III, IV, and V submittals, cost estimates, special provisions, environmental technical documents, pavement replacement design parameters, and utility coordination and clearance letter. New right of way is not anticipated for the project; this shall be confirmed by the consultant at Stage III. Temporary Construction Easements (TCE’s) are anticipated due to the proximity to existing private property. Proposed TCE locations will be determined by the consultant by Stage III. Gila County will be responsible for securing the TCE documents, with assistance from the consultant if exhibits, etc. are needed.
