Specifications include, but are not limited to: The general services to be performed by the Supplier are as follows: a. Develop a timeline for the recruitment and selection of a new superintendent. b. Review the District’s Climate and Culture Review executive summary, presentation and final report presented by the Public Consulting Group as noted on BoardDocs for the Board Work Session meeting that occurred on June 7, 2023. c. In conjunction with the Board, solicit public input to establish a profile of the desired candidate and criteria for selection utilizing various balanced and culturally sensitive outreach methods such as public hearings and community surveys. No more than six public hearings shall be conducted and, at a minimum, shall address parents and students, employees and employee bargaining units, and the local community, to include business, ethnic, and religious groups. The Board may conduct a community survey and public hearings prior to the Supplier being hired. The Supplier may propose additional means of gathering public input to contribute to establishing a profile of the desired candidate.
