Specifications include, but are not limited to: The District would like to convert two second floor stockrooms to office space. The rooms identified as stockrooms B and C are small windowless rooms located on opposing sides of an intersecting corridor. Stockroom B measures approximately 650 square feet in area while Stockroom C measures 730 square feet. Stockroom B will be converted into a training room intended for use by 12 staff members and an instructor. Stockroom C will become an open office space for use by four members of the school staff (plus visitors). The scope of the renovations includes an upgrade to all interior finishes, plus new lighting, power, data and communication systems, and new mechanical heating cooling, and ventilation. Fire detection and alarm components will be replaced, and new doors and hardware will be required. New curb openings must be provided at the roof to accommodate two new HVAC units. Structural reinforcing of the curb openings is required, as is the installation of related roof flashings. A small coffee station in the training room will require the installation of a sink and cabinetry. The District will empty the contents of the rooms prior to the start of work and will be responsible for remediating any hazardous materials within the room. The District will purchase all specified furnishings under a separate contract.
