Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town of Smyrna, Tennessee, an Equal Opportunity Employer, seeks to retain the services of a professional consultant planning firm to provide services for the update to the Major Thoroughfare Plan/Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan for Smyrna, Tennessee. Responsibilities of the professional consultant planning firm include, but are not limited to: ● Review of the existing approved plans from 2017. ● Prepare an update of both plans, taking into account existing and proposed land use, public investments, and transportation and utility infrastructure. ● Provide implementation strategies to include at minimum a capital improvement plan. ● Coordinate with the Greater Nashville Regional Council for all travel demand and any other applicable long range transportation planning modeling. ● Conduct public involvement as required.
